Candleague was founded with one goal in mind.... to help others!
Candleague uses All Natural Soy Wax in ALL of our creations! Why? It starts with supporting local farmers! By using a natural substance to create candles, we are not only helping out the nations soy bean farmers, but we are also helping out the environment. Using soy wax candles have many benefits such as...
Natural. Soy candles are made from soybeans, a natural, renewable source grown in many regions by local farmers
Cleaner Burning. A candle made from soy wax burns cleaner with little soot released as the candle burns
We believe that natural is better! With our passion and drive, will we continue to work to make the world a better place for the next generation!
Candleague was started in June 2015 when I was looking for something to do while I stayed home with the kids. When I received my first Candle Making Kit in the mail, I was super excited to get started! Before I knew it, All my candles from my kit were selling faster than I could make them! I soon fell in love, found my passion, and finally saw the path to my dream of owning my own business! Little by little, I learned new tricks and styles of candles, different scents, mixing my own scents and coloring candles. I'm learning more each day! The sky is the limit!
More about me.... I'm a married mother of 2, a stay at home mom, business owner, student and volunteer. I am 40 yrs old and reside in a small town in Colorado. I was born at Fort Carson, Colorado and raised in here in Canon City, Colorado. I have lived here most of my life. I met my husband while attending high school here and had both my children here.
My family and I love to travel! It is because of Candleague that we are about to take vacations, explore new destinations, make memories and meet new people through the craft shows we do as a family.
It is here, In Canon City, Colorado, where I have attempted to start several businesses, all of which failed. I learned from those failed attempts, used those experiences to make this business a successful one! I was lucky enough to finally find my passion in candle making. I find time to volunteer within my community. I am a Girl Scout Leader, I am part of the local Sheriff's Office IMT (Incident Management Team). I have been an active member for 5-6 years now. I also am a support member of the Wildland Fire Team, bringing food, water, and supplies to fire fighters working on the fire line. Once a month, I also donate my time to a local food bank, distributing food to the less fortunate. From time to time, I also plan and run various fundraisers throughout the community.
I take great pride in everything I do and live life to the fullest! I want to lead by example and teach my children that they can do anything they put their mind to. I strive to raise my kids to be good people and do my part to set them up to be good, giving people in their lives.
